Ramzi Hermiz

An experienced global leader and trusted advisor, Ramzi was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in 2022. Prior to Carlex, Ramzi has served as President, CEO and Board Director for numerous public, private and philanthropic organizations. As comfortable in the board room as he is on the manufacturing floor, Ramzi is guiding Carlex in the company’s strategies to build and attract top talent, create a winning culture, and motivate from the front-line. An automotive industry veteran, Ramzi has served in leadership roles for several multi-billion-dollar original equipment and aftermarket businesses. Most notably, Ramzi served as President and CEO of Shiloh Industries from 2012 to 2020. Prior to joining Shiloh, Ramzi spent 22 years with Federal-Mogul, including seven years based in Europe.
Rick Cummings

Rick Cummings joined Carlex in 2023 as Chief Operating Officer. In his role, Rick oversees the execution of Carlex’s strategic plan, development of the Carlex Production System and responsibility of operations, supply chain and manufacturing technology while supporting Carlex’s mission, enhancing organizational culture, and developing a high performing team. An accomplished automotive executive, Rick brings nearly 30 years of operations and finance experience to the role. As a leader, Rick is passionate about transforming businesses, enhancing culture, and developing high-potential talent to empower organizations to operate at their best.
Alex Rotolo
Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer of the Carlex Group, Alex is responsible for all of the company’s financial activities, including the development and management of budgets, and preparation of financial statements. Alex joined Carlex in 2022 as the Chief Financial Officer. His experience spans finance, corporate development, marketing, sales, procurement, transportation and supply chain leadership, with deep operational experience in manufacturing.
Prior to Carlex, Alex held senior positions at private equity backed Atlas Holdings businesses including Chief Financial Officer of Finch Paper Holdings and Chief Financial Officer of Twin Rivers Paper Company – forest products companies in the US Northeast, US South and Canada. Alex also served as President of Finch Waste Co, a solid waste management business servicing the US Northeast, which was acquired by Waste Management (NYSE:WM).
Prior to Atlas Holdings, Alex held positions of increasing responsibility at institutional investment, turnaround management and insurance firms, serving in finance, as well as marketing and sales roles. Alex holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biology and Economics from Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut. He currently serves as the Vice Chairperson on the Board of Directors for the Economic Development Corporation of Warren County and as the Vice President of the Board of Directors of The Franklin Community Center.
