  • Establish operational processes that follow applicable environmental, health & safety regulations and adopt company standards to protect human health and the environment where regulatory requirements do not provide adequate controls.
  • Ensure the allocation of appropriate resources to support continual reduction in health & safety risks, waste generation, energy consumption, and emissions to land, air, and water.
  • Design, manage and operate Carlex facilities to maximize safety, energy efficiency and environmental protection and create products that are safe in their intended use, conserve energy and materials, and prevent pollution throughout the product life cycle including manufacture, use and end-of-life management.
  • Support a rigorous corporate auditing program that measures and monitors regulatory compliance, progress toward environmental, health & safety related goals, targets, and strategic plans, and assures effective implementation and continual improvement of the EH&S management system.
